APA urges Oyo LG election observers to publish election report

The African Peoples Alliance (APA) has urged the umbrella body of the 2018 Oyo local government election observers to quickly publish their reports on the just concluded local government election in the state in order to help evaluate and promote confidence through transparency.

This was contained in a release issued and signed by Oyo APA State Chairman and State Secretary, Mr. Tolulope Adedoyin and Mr. Raji Babatunde after an emergency meeting of the Party held yesterday at the party secretariat in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.

The party said the report would be useful not only for evaluation but to measure the performances of the electoral body (OYSIEC), participated political parties, the security agents and the government itself.

APA wondered why Oyo local government election report has not been released when that of the Kaduna state which held same day has been published and made available on the social media platforms.
